Tom started in a temp position. It began in the evenings as Tom got familiar with the work. He began getting better at his job and met different individuals. He worked with a woman named Jess. Jess seemed nice; she worked the morning shift. But Jess began to have issues with work. Jess started not coming in, having car problems, Traffic, etc., which puzzled Tom because Tom would have to fill in for Jess on more than one occasion. Suddenly, Jess did not come in for a few days or call. Keeping Jess at work or letting her go fell on Mu, the supervisor. So, Mu chose to let her go and decided to hire another person for the job. Samantha came to the company to work the morning shift. Tom introduced himself and helped Samantha catch up on the program. Samantha liked the job for a while until some customers came in and made rude comments. The comments were too vulgar to explain. The transportation company where Tom and Samantha worked did not have security. So, for precaution, Samantha would bring in her spouse now and then to help her with customers. Finally, she could not handle the pressure of the customer anymore and decided to quit the job. When Samantha quit, Mu had to make another choice. Would he hire someone new for the morning shift? Alternatively, could he assign the role to Tom since he has been there the longest? So, Mu chose to ask Tom if he would like to work the morning shift. Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new change, Tom accepted the offer. He started working the morning shift, and they found someone new for the evening shift. Her name was Rosa.
